Prior to starting Plumski Engineering and Repair, Duane was the Director of Engineering for Entrans International where he worked domestically and internationally leading an engineering organization of more than 50 skilled engineers and designers in the United States, Mexico, Europe, and Asia. This position among others required a strong work ethic and strong technical skills. Duane’s work ethic began on the family farm and has been an asset throughout his career. During the summers in engineering school, you could find Duane working with his hands in custom woodworking, millwork, building tank trailers, working on the farm, and/or working as an engineering intern. Duane is accustomed to balancing multiple engagements at all times. He became Polar Tank Trailers' Research and Development Engineer while finishing engineering school and completing his senior design project with Boston Scientific. Duane has worked with all product lines at Polar Tank Trailers and successfully progressed in roles of increasing responsibility as a Product Engineering Supervisor, Chief Engineer, Director of Product Development, and Director of Engineering. Duane also values his experiences in the municipal and industrial valve industry working as a Product Development Program Manager at DeZurik Apco Hilton. He is an inventor on two patents (one for Municipal air valves and one for Propane and refined fuel trucks) and has been a contributor to many other intellectually valuable designs and solutions.
